After you prepare all of things that you need for this project, you can start this project well. First, remove your cabinet drawers and doors. Second, put on an eye protection and rubber gloves and mix the solution of 2 up to 3 tablespoons of “trisodium phosphate” and one gallon of hot water. Third, wash the cabinets with that solution. Fourth, cover countertops, appliances or the furniture by using the plastic sheeting. Fifth, apply the chemical stripper to the doors and cabinets by using the paintbrush. Sixth, scrape the softened finish from oak by using the putty knife. Seventh, wipe your cabinets by using the damp cloth for removing debris, strippers.

Eight, sand your oak cabinet with the 220 grain sandpaper. Ninth, wipe the sanded wood by using the tack cloth for removing dust. Tenth, apply the stain in your cabinets by using the best quality paintbrush. Eleventh, continue applying the stain to the cabinets, drawers and doors. Then, apply the thin coat of oil based polyurethane in your cabinets. The last is, lightly sand of first coat and wipe the dust by using the tack cloth.
